Individual Life Insurance
Paragon Life Insurance is available to employees working 20 hours per week or more. This is a policy that is portable upon termination of employment. Employees can elect coverage in increments of one, two, three, four or five times their annual salary, with a required minimum of $100,000 and not to exceed the maximum of $2 million. An optional HIV rider is available at additional cost.
An employee may enroll in the Paragon plan within the first 31 days of employment or during the open enrollment period each September. Employees are required to complete a health statement, and the coverage is subject to satisfactory evidence of insurability.
Employees who purchase insurance with Paragon are eligible to take advantage of the investment options associated with the life insurance program.
